And, using Remote Access, I can work in your file directly, no transferring needed. You can e-mail me questions as they arise and I can have your answers to you just as quickly.

I specialize in Bookkeeping for Individuals, Professionals and Small – Medium Businesses. However, my passion regarding QuickBooks is to teach people how to use it to its fullest potential. Save them time and money by using various tips and shortcuts, memorized transactions and just plain “Oh why didn’t I think of that!” suggestions.
My father was an Accountant and Comptroller in NYC back in the 1960’s. From the time I was 12 years old I used to go to work with him at his seasonal job, a well known Tax Preparer Franchise. He had shown me how to prepare basic tax returns for students. It was my first job, and led to my understanding, that as far as accounting and bookkeeping, you either have a head for numbers or you don’t. I am one of the lucky ones, I enjoy numbers and in accounting and most especially computerized accounting I love what information you can discern when those numbers are in the right places.
As the years progressed, I took two years of Accounting courses, then tutored Accounting students. Working as a full charge bookkeeper for a private corporation, and then with a CPA my skills were honed. Keeping books the old fashioned way. So, beginning with a multitude of hand written ledgers, through spreadsheets, and now as a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor, I have over 20 years experience dealing with the Accounting / Bookkeeping needs of a variety of companies and individuals.

This is my private home, with children, grandchildren, and significant others milling about. Galileo, our dog, is a Black Golden Retriever (aka Flat-coated Retriever), my “adult children” have collected a variety of pet rodents and assorted creatures that I pretend are not living in my house. Also I cannot forget to add my husband and myself. It would be insanity to entertain clients also on a regular basis. Although, there are those days when for lack of a more convenient location I have given QuickBooks training classes amidst the madness.
